BULK FLOW’s 53ft Intermodal Container Liners can transform any domestic 53ft rail container into a clean bulk cargo vessel to allow the intermodal transportation of bulk commodities at a lower freight cost by using standard intermodal equipment. This is a more cost-efficient logistics alternative to high-demand, expensive rail hopper cars.
BULK-FLOW’s 53′ intermodal container liners fill a logistics need in the market by providing an alternative to ship bulk commodities over the railroad in 53′ rail containers vs. expensive and on high-demand rail hopper cars.
Two 53′ intermodal containers can be stacked on a flat rail car to match the payload of a rail hopper car and the fact that they are intermodal provides transloading cost savings by enabling a door to door logistics operation without costly and time consuming in-between transloads.
BULK-FLOW’s 53′ intermodal container liners are low-cost enough that they can be used and discarded after one use, recyclable, easy-to-install and provide a clean environment for any cargo.
Materials & Construction:
BULK-FLOW 53′ intermodal container liners can be made in woven HDPE double-laminated material, ranging from 125 gsm to 200 gsm, depending on the application.
Elastic cords and metal carabine hooks are part of the liner for fast and secure installation.
